The judges, I am sure, are going to have a tough time in judging them. P.Suseela was there as a special invitee guest for one of these episodes and it was sad to see that her sweet melodious voice had disappeared, may be, due to her aging.

Tamil Nadu government takes on Kamal Haasan
Chennai: Responding to Kamal Haasan’s interview to a website in which the actor pointed out that the relief work was not satisfactory and also questioned about the tax money people are paying to the government for better service, Finance minister O. Pannnerselvam on Saturday said that he has crossed his limits without realising the damage that Tamil Nadu has suffered due to the deluge.
In a statement, Panneerselvam said that the capital city, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur have received an unprecedented record rainfall, But the actor who is not in his senses has questioned the government on monsoon relief. Calling Kamal a ‘Karutthu Kandasamy, Panneerselvam said the actor was speaking as if he knew everything but he actually didn’t know the field situation on the ground. May be in cinemas, where he is a hero, there can be a single scene or a song where the actor can handle a disaster, but in reality handling a disaster is not that easy. Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa has mooted the official machinery on rescue and relief, but without understanding what is a disaster, the actor has commented.
“If he wants to understand the disaster, Kamal should watch his own film Anbe Sivam, noted Panneer-selvam. Sharing statistics on the relief works executed by the government, the minister condemned the actor and termed his interview as frivolous, misleading aimed to get political mileage, without benefitting any flood hit victim. He also said that hundreds of volunteers, army and NGOs are staying with the government in addressing the disaster and Telegu actors like Allu Arjun on his twitter has announced `25 lakh for CM relief, but what has Kamal did, Panneerselvam questioned.

Producers are ready to pay the salary that Nayanthara demands: Director Saajan
There is a great sensation because there is news that Nayanthara is receiving the salary of Rs 3 Crores. Malayalam director Saajan has mentioned that the producers are willing to pay any amount to Nayanthara.

If the shooting is to begin at 9 A M she will be there 30 minutes before. Once the shooting is over, she will not rush to the caravan. She will be sitting in the spot and will be speaking to the crew members. She has no head weight. She is a very simple person. Kerala people are proud because Nayanthara is the number one in the South Indian film industries.
Producers are ready to pay Nayanthara the salary that she demands. There is no necessity for her act in Malayalam film which gives her less salary. For her, the role and story is important. Money is not important for her. If she likes her role, she will immediately accept. That is how she liked my story and acting in it.”

Thala Ajith reaches out to flood victims, sans publicity
Thala Ajith always stands a step apart from the rest. And he proved it yet again during the Chennai floods. While some of the actors were spotted working together with the public in aid of the flood-affected,
a TV report suggests that actor Ajith has accommodated around 180 people in his house providing all the basic amenities. We hear that he has also donated a hefty sum of 1 crore to the Chief Ministers Relief Fund through his foundation. However, there has been no official confirmation on the same.
His wife and actress Shalini Ajith had recently distributed food to over 400 victims. This apart, Thala Ajith’s fans from across the state have also been reaching out to the affected people with relief material.
In the meantime, Lawrence Raghavendra has donated 1 crore to the flood victims. There are also reports that actor Vijay is planning to donate 5 crore for the rain-affected. Among the others who have been working sans publicity, we hear, are Kishore, Sitara, Imman Annachi and Mayilsamy.

Actress ‘Kadhal’ Sandhya enters into wedlock
Actress Sandhya, popularly known as ‘Kaadhal’ Sandhya because of her debut movie, entered into wedlock on Sunday (December 6th). The marriage took place in Kerala at the famous Guruvayoor temple, according to a report.
Her wedding, with an IT professional named Venkat Chandrasekharan, was initially planned to take place in Chennai but later shifted to Kerala because of the unfortunate flood, the city is battling at the moment. It is said that Sandhya’s family were forced to stay at their apartment with no possible means to get in touch with the groom’s family. After a painful hiatus, their phones were finally resurrected on Saturday morning, after which they decided to shift the venue of the actress’ marriage. A grand reception is expected to take place in Chennai, after normalcy is restored in the city. Sandhya bagged a truckload of awards for her role in Kaadhal, after which she became a popular actress in Kollywood. She has also appeared in Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada movies.

Brahmi to Star as Amala Paul in ‘Bengal Tiger’
Veteran comedian Brahmanandam, who is known to have unconventional names in his films, will be called Amala Paul in upcoming film Bengal Tiger.
Brahmi, as he is fondly called, is often given bizarre names to amplify his comic quotient in films. For instance, in Ram Charan-starrer Bruce Lee earlier this year, Brahmanandam’s character is called Suzuki Subramanyam alias Peter alias Pakodi. The title itself created a tremendous buzz and even though the film (and the comedy) did not live upto expectations, his character will remain etched in people’s memory.
Similarly, his character as Amala Paul has garnered has garnered tremendous curiosity ahead of Bengal Tiger, which features Ravi Teja in the lead. The makers, however, are keeping their cards close to their chest and want to keep Brahmi’s character as a surprise element.
“Yes, Brahmandam garu will be called Amala Paul in the movie. He is at his hilarious best in the film and his character is bound to leave everybody in splits. However, I cannot reveal further details as Sampath Nandi (the film’s director) wants there to be a suspense about his character. It will surely be one of the highlights of the film,” said a source from the film’s unit.
Bengal Tiger, which also features Tamannaah and Raashi Khanna in important roles, releases on December 10.

Bobby Simhaa to debut in Telugu films with ‘Neram’ remake
National Award winning actor Bobby Simhaa will reprise his role in the Telugu remake of Tamil-Malayalam bilingual “Neram”, making it his debut in the language.
“Simhaa has been roped in to play the antagonist. He will be essaying his own role as the ruthless lone shark from the original,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.
According to the source, the makers were in talks with a few other actors to play the villain, but nobody fit the bill like Simhaa, who currently has over half a dozen Tamil films in his kitty.
To be directed by Anil Kanneganti, the film is tentatively titled “123” and features Sundeep Kishan and Anisha Ambrose in the lead.
The film tracks few hours in the life of its protagonist and emphasizes on the importance of time, both good and bad, in our lives.
The regular shooting of the film, which will be produced by Pixel Dreams, will start from later this month.
