Nayanthara who is riding high after the success of ‘Raja Rani’ and ‘Arrambam’ seems to be on cloud nine with more interesting films coming up. The sizzling actress, who has raised eyebrows pairing up with her ex-lover Simbu for a film directed by Pandiaraj, is currently romancing Udhayanidhi Stalin in Pollachi.
The shoot of SR Prabhakaran directed romantic comedy Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal (IKK) starring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Nayanthara in the lead is almost complete with the unit now shooting the last song in the beautiful locations of Pollachi. Santhanam and Sundar Ramu play important roles along with Saranya and Chaya Singh in supporting roles.
Produced by Red Giant Movies, Nayanthara plays Pavithra a simple, middle-class girl while Udhayanidhi plays an unemployed man who goes to Madurai and falls in for Pavithra. Nayan will carry her de-glam look throughout the film and interestingly in the songs too. The music of the film is by Harris Jayaraj and camera is by Balasubramanian. IKK produced by Red Giants Movies is aiming at a December release.
