Comedy actor Santhanam has decided that he wouldn’t prefer acting as sidekicks of heroes anymore and that he prefers to play the protagonist in at least two films a year.
While Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham has opened up to positive reviews and many have congratulated the hard work of Santhanam, he has now started working on his next film, which is yet to be titled. The film is directed by his close friend Sethu and the first leg of shooting commenced in Pondicherry before few days and the schedule is all set for a wrap up now. With a single stretch shooting, the sources closer to the unit claim that 25% of the project is complete and rest of the schedules will happen shortly. Ashna Zaveri who played the female lead opposite Santhanam in Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham will be his love interest again and another heroine is expected to join the sets soon.
