Ravi K Chandran’s Yaan has a good pre-release buzz around it. After seeing the first copy producer Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment felt happy. Said the beaming producer : “Yaan is a racy entertainer and looks good as the commercial mix is right.”
A lot is riding on the Jiiva-Thulasi film, ace cameraman Ravi K Chandran’s debut film as director. The “Attankarai” song sung by Gana Bala and tuned by Harris Jayaraj is scorching the music channels.
The trailer of this fantasy action thriller has already been praised for its rich look. The film has been shot in Mumbai and various other locations in the world including Morocco; at the same place where Inception was filmed. Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor has praised the film’s trailer and songs.
Yaan is releasing big in Tamil Nadu, the major market for the film as it is releasing in nearly 350 screens on October 2. The film should be able to take a huge opening as it is a four-day Gandhi Jayanthi-Navarathri holiday weekend.
