Karan isn’t known to be one of those high-kicking action-oriented heroes. But for his next film Kanniyum Kaalaiyum Sema Kadhal, he shot a climax fight sequence for eight whole days.
Says the director V C Vadivudaiyaan, “We identified a location past Avadi which is like a deserted field and we shot for eight days continuously to get the climax fight scene.” In case you’re wondering if there were hordes of villains fighting with the star, the director surprises us, “There are only two people involved in the fight. But it is so intense that we needed that much time to shoot it.” Though Karan has been in the industry for well over two decades, he has been dormant over the past five years – but not with his association with Vadivudaiyaan, who he collaborated with for Thambi Vettothi Sundaram in 2011. “This film has all the elements of an entertainer and that is why we are going for a dual release in Tamil and Telugu,” he adds.
